Elica team contacted with in a delivery and the installation was done properly.

Ordered this from amazon at good discounted rate. Delivered after a week. Waited for installation to be done for 2 days, called amazon, the agent said that you need to install it yourself, i asked how am i suppose to do it? The agent replied, sorry sir, the installation will be done by today or tomorrow. After 2 days i called, another agent tells me that it’s a self installation product, you can do it yourself or call an engineer by yourself from outside. I was about to do that then i read a review here that if you do the installation yourself or from anyone else except the Elica engineer, your warranty stands invalid. Amazon agent would have costed me the warranty.
The product was installed by elica engineer the next day after calling them. Quick service. However you won’t believe the way the product was stuffed in the box. There were thermocol pieces as if they were broken by hand and fixed around the gas stobe. But since there was no defect in the product, we go it installed. On the same day, 2 of the burners started making tick tick loud sound. The sound wad constant and it sounded like a glass crack noise. As per the engineers it’s absolutely normal and nothing will happen, but we are not okay with a stressful cooking experience. One of the burners also started making bhuk-bhuk sound after 2 days.
I have just requested a return/refund of this product. Packed with the same thermocol broken pieces and infact in a better way that what I received.
Overall the product looks very stunning. Makes your kitchen looks classy. It comes with a 2 year warranty and 5/7 year glass warranty. Elica customer service is not bad. No long hold time on call and the agents comes pretty quick (in a day or two).
But it makes noise, as if the glass is cracking from within every second and will burst any time. It has been a very stressful cooling experience for us. A lot of people have mentioned similar review but i still gave it a shot. A lot of people have mentioned the glass cracking after some months but we did not notice any big crack. Only one small crack kind of things which can be seen barely on light but can be felt by hand (picture attached).
Overall NOT A GOOD PRODUCT. Atleast not from long term perspective. For us it did not even suite for couple of days.
Now waiting for the product to be picked up and to get a timely refund.
Will update here on the refund policy of amazon, will let you all know how it goes and how convenient it is for customers.

• Low volume ‘creick’ sound sometimes after switched off. Maybe due to gasket expansion/contrction after use. But can be ignored as can goaway after some use/seasoning.
